Inca's Kids
By allkinds on Jan 21, 2008 | In Gifts,Handmade and Personalized
Out of all the reviews I have done I am really proud to be able to help out Inca's Kids with this review.
Inca's Kids is a Fair Trade Store supporting Peruvian artisans, men and women working from dawn to dusk to provide for their families.
All of Inca's Kids products are handmade. You can tell that there is a lot of love put into these products. I received a total of 5 finger puppets, but there are over 25 different characters to choose from all are hand knitted in wool. These puppets are created by different artisan groups of underprivileged women in Peru.
I also received tiger gloves that are also hand knitted, these gloves fit most toddlers and young children, they are one size fits all. Styles available are the tiger and the rabbit. These gloves can also be used to play as puppets. You can also see that these are made with love and much attention to detail.
I am just so amazed at the amount of handmade products you can purchase from Inca's Kids. Every time you order a product from these artisans the products are made just for you, they don't keep stock of any of their products. By buying from Inca's Kids you are helping to support these artisans who are trying to feed their families by making an honest living.
There is so much you can learn from them and read on their website. Please help the Peruvians support them families by supporting Inca's Kids. Visit their website at http://www.incakids.org
One Group
By allkinds on Jan 4, 2008 | In Bath and Body
Michele Dupper is a independent representative for One Group. One Group is located in Australia. They manufacture and create certified organic skin care, hair care, personal care, health care and cosmetic products.
Michele sent me samples of rejuvenating moisturizer, sunflower body wash and lemon myrtle shampoo. I first have to say that this is the first time I have tried anything organic. I must say that the sunflower body wash smelled so good, it lathers pretty good and it makes you feel very fresh and clean. The body wash contains sunflower oil which is filled with vitamins for your skin. You can purchase a bottle of 8.5 fl oz for $16.95.
The lemon myrtle shampoo is good for normal to oily hair you can purchase it for $20.95 and it contains 8.5 fl oz of shampoo. Susan one of our reviewers tried the shampoo and she loved it as she said "it left her hair having a shine to it, and she also stated it smelled good".
Finally the moisturizer was reviewed by Sammy. She has problems with dry skin, so she wanted to give it a try. Sammy said "she liked the way it rubbed on her hands and she said that it maybe a product she could use." Sammy also said she would buy more samples to verify that this was a product she would stick to using, and she hoped it would help her control her dry skin. You can purchase this product for $47.95 and you will receive 1.7 fl oz.
Over all I think that Michele has very nice products and you can buy samples if you want to try them out. I know that with anything organic it will cost a little more to buy these type of products. Which is worth it for those of you that are into organic products. For those of you who have never tried anything organic I recommend that you purchase some samples, they are very inexpensive and you can see which products you like. You can also see if using organic products is for you.

By allkinds on Jan 21, 2008 | In Bath and Body
Kristine's Shower is owned and operated by Jenny Hoehn. We received many samples to review.
This review was done by our mom volunteer Jeannette. Thanks Jeannette for your honest opinion.
I am going to list all of the samples I have received along with the sizes available and there prices.
5oz. Soap scent Girly Girly $3.99, Pear berry body frosting 12oz. $15.99, Orange Dream Shea Butter Body Sorbet $9.99 for 12oz. 2oz $3.99 and 4oz $4.99, Spellbound Bath bomb 2.5oz $2.00 you can also purchase 4 pack and 6 pack for $7.49 and $10.49, Enchanted Apple Body whip $12.99, I also tried a Splish Splash soy wax melt $1.49.
First off I wanted to say that all of the products are simply wonderful.
I love the idea that you can purchase samples of the products to see which one is right for you. Jenny also lists the ingredients of each of her products so you can see if you are allergic to any of the ingredients she uses. The packing is just so cute. I also like the fact that she lists very good descriptions and details on her products. it just makes you want to try them all.
If you are looking to make some money she also offers her products for wholesale but you must be a business to buy them at wholesale prices. The smell of each product put me in lala land and I felt so at ease when I was done using them. It was easy to look around her site and see how to order. If you had a question, she lists her phone number as well as her email address on every page, so you can find her contact information very easily. Jenny also has a ton of scents that you can choose from, which are broken down in 6 categories so it makes it easy to pick which ones you want. The shipping was fast and everything arrived in tact and well packaged. In my opinion Kristine's Shower is a great company.
