No-Lice Hair and Body Spray
By allkinds on Aug 16, 2007 | In Child and Safety Products
Erica Johns also known as Supermom has come up with a way to keep lice away from your children. The best part of it all is that it is made from non-toxic substances and it is all-natural. Erica has invented the No-Lice Hair and Body Spray. Which is simple to use after every wash, spray hair thoroughly. Then spray hair daily, this will help keep the lice away.
If you are wondering how she came up with such a product, keep reading! Erica is a mom to 6 young kids. One day she had her first experience with lice when her whole family got it. She then decided to learn all about lice, and there you have it her product was born.
Having 3 kids myself and one on the way, I have some concerns about lice. It seemed like I received a notice at least once or twice a month from the school, stating that some kid in one of my children’s classes had lice. Now that I have a bottle of Erica’s product and have tried it. I am not as worried this school year. You can get a 16-ounce bottle for $15.
What I like about the product is that it is non-toxic, all natural and it does not have a funny smell. It is easy to use and you can use it everyday while you are combing your hair and your children’s hair. Also this product is safe for the whole family to use.
Erica also sells other products for lice on her blog located at www.nolice.blogspot.com. There you can purchase these products and read her no-lice advice.
I think Erica came up with such a great invention and super product. I think all families should have this product on their back school lists. Good Job Erica, and thumbs up to you!
Healthy Teas

Before I go on with this new review, I have to share a little story with you.
I had received a box of products to review; one of the products was a sample of teas and coffee. My husband was home from work as he had gotten some kind of stomach bug and was unable to keep anything down. After a few hours he really wanted to try and eat or drink something.
My husband is a big coffee drinker; he also likes to drink tea from time to time. As he looked thru the kitchen for some tea I remembered the samples I had received and gave it to him to try. I told him well here is some tea, try one of these and see if you can keep it down.
Low and behold my worry for my husband turned into my review of these products. Erica Johns calls herself Supermom and sells a variety of products at http://www.supermomshealthandwellness.com.
Over the following days I will review several products from her line. Today I am reviewing the following teas Rooibos Herbal Tea, Yerba Mate Royale. I will also review Teeccino Almond Amaretto Coffee, Prairie Kari Lively Lemon Soap and Cinnamon, Oat and Honey Soap.
The following review was done by my husband who fell in love with the teas and coffee. He especially enjoyed the Rooibos Herbal Tea. He stated that it made his stomach feel better and he loved the taste and how soothing it made him feel. He stated the taste was very rich and he would love to drink some more. I asked him if he would pay $5.49 for a box, and he said he would. The funny thing is that when I went to check out the site for more information about the product and to obtain a price, I did not realize that this tea is used to help upset stomachs. Which shows why my husband felt better after drinking the tea. He was indeed soothed by the tea as he took a nap right afterwards.
When I asked him about the Yerba Mate Royale Tea and the Teeccino Almond Amaretto Coffee, he stated that he also enjoyed drinking both of the products. He liked the taste of both of them as well. But if he had to choose between the 3 products he would pick the Rooibos first. I asked him if he thought both products were a good value for the price, he stated that Yerba Royale was. But he had a hard time with paying $2.00 for just a sample of coffee. You can find Yerba Mate Royale for $5.49 per box, and the Teeccino Almond Amaretto for $2.00 per sample.
Once again you can find these products at http://www.supermomshealthandwellness.com.
Last but not least I will talk about the following, Prairie Kari Lively Lemon Soap and Cinnamon, Oat and Honey Soap. Both of these soaps are handmade and run for $4.00 per bar. Erica Johns offers over 15 varieties of these handmade soaps I liked the smell of both products, but if I had to choose from the 2 I would go with the cinnamon, oat and honey that was my favorite. The price is not to bad considering that the soaps are handmade and I know how long it takes to make these types of products as I use to do it as well. The good thing about these types of soaps is that you know they don’t have any added materials that commercial soaps have. And they are good for people with sensitive skin or have certain allergies. Would I pay for these soaps in the future, yes I would. I like handmade soaps especially when they are made with care and are a good quality as these soaps are. Buy these soaps at http://www.supermomshealthandwellness.com.
Country Meadow Creations

Country Meadow Creations is owned by Colleen Johnston. Colleen makes handcrafted glycerin and all natural soaps. This review will be on a soap called Tangerine Facial. I received a 4 oz bar of soap, after reading the ingredients I had one of my other tester's do the review since I am allergic to one of the ingredients found in the soap. The review is based on the opinions of my tester Samantha.
Samantha loves bath and body products and she is always looking for more products to test out. When I gave the soap to Samantha she loved the box, she thought it was so nicely made and thought that it came from a major company.
She was impressed to find out that it came from a work at home mom. One of the things Samantha liked about the soap was that it was made of natural ingredients and that the soap did not have any harsh smells to it. She used it for about a week and stated that the soap did not dry her skin out like many of the major soaps do. It felt very nice on her skin. She also stated that it was very well made and its worth the price. If she had her choice she would switch to this soap. She liked the fact that the ingredients are listed on the box and she can read and fully understand what she is putting on her skin. I asked Samantha what rating would she give and she stated she would give this soap 4 out of 5 stars.
If you are interested in purchasing this soap or any of Colleens products check out the site. You can get a bar of soap for $4.95 at http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com
Baby Diaper Wipe Case
By allkinds on Aug 1, 2007 | In Baby andToddler
Danielle owner of A Lil Whimsy came up with a unique idea to make baby cases look more fashionable. I received a Whimsy Wipe Diaper Case to review, you can view the exact case I received here http://alilwhimsy.com/catalog.php?item=75&catid=2&ret=catalog.php%3Fpage%3D2%26category%3D2.
I have to say I was taken back by the idea that you can take a plain old wipes case and turn it into something that you would be proud to take out of your diaper bag. The case is so nicely designed and put together. This case would make a great gift for a mom to be or for a person who recently gave birth. There are many styles to choose from and you can have this design and the others she has available custom made into a baby nursery set. The price of the case is $22 and it comes filled with unscented huggies wipes. The good thing about these cases is that you have many uses for them besides carrying baby wipes. You can use it as an organizer, put pens and pencils in it, etc.
Danielle also sells other products besides these wipes cases; on her site you will be able to find car seat covers, diaper bags and totes, hair bows and much more.
If you would like to order this product or to view A Lil Whimsy’s other products stop by her website at http://www.alilwhimsy.com
Baby Slings
By allkinds on Aug 21, 2007 | In Baby andToddler
If you know someone expecting a baby or if they just had a baby you have to show them these cute baby slings. Slings sells a variety of these baby slings, you can choice by style or color and by your size. And you can use the sling for newborns and babies up to 35 pounds. The sling above is the one I received I took of picture of it after I took it out of the box.
The slings seems durable. I received this sling to review the one thing I can say negative is that I believe they sent me the wrong size. I was asked various question so they can send me the size needed and if you go by my answers I should of received a size 24 or 25 and I got a 23.
I am going to mess around with it some more to see if I can fit correctly. One of the things they included in the package was an instruction booklet on how to use the sling and how to put it on and the do's and don'ts which is nice for a person who has never used one like me. Over all I like the idea of the sling and it makes a nice gift, just make sure you chose the right size for the person who will receive it!
