Wash out

By allkinds on May 31, 2010 | In misc

It is a wash out here in N.C so I have been working on a wordpress template for a client. The client will be providing apidexin reviews on the site. They wanted to run the site using wordpress, which I recommend for anyone who wants an easy way to update their own sites. I love designing sites and blogs and many of my clients are turning to content management systems since it’s easy to maintain. What sets them apart is that my clients are having their wordpress themes custom made instead of using the themes available to everyone on the net. This helps them set their sites and blogs apart from everyone else. I highly recommend a custom wordpress theme, if you want a blog or site.

An eye opener

By allkinds on May 26, 2010 | In Fitness and Health, Home and Garden, misc

Do you know what is so sad about the world today, is that so many people are worried about material items and their looks. They worry about their weight and they worry about who has what that they don’t have. Mind you I understand that we want to keep in shape and we want to live for many years so yes we should watch what we eat, but when it gets to a point of obsession then there is something wrong. Or we have those who have to have the latest and greatest gadgets or they have to have the same as their neighbor or better. What happened to just being happy to be able to wake up every morning and breath? I know I know we all need money to survive and trust me I work for my money and make sure I keep my businesses going to be able to pay the bills and such but at the same note I only worry about making my family happy. Making sure we have a roof over our head, my kids have clothes and food, and my pets are well fed. I don’t care what kind of car my neighbor has or if my neighbor found the best diet supplement because he/she needs to lose a few pounds. I have come to realize that too many people are loving things and using people instead of using things and loving people. Think about it, take a second and think about it everything now a day is centered on having the latest and greatest, instead of showing us that we should center ourselves with the ones we love. Then again we shouldn’t need anyone to show us that, we should know that. This revelation was brought on by an email my aunt sent me that was really was an eye opener. If you have not done it yet make sure you tell everyone you love that you love them and how important they are in your life. If you do that today and every day the world would be a better place and your life will improve for the better!

Update on the Biggest Loser site

By allkinds on May 26, 2010 | In Fitness and Health

Speaking of the Biggest Loser and how they promote all sorts of products on the show. I was looking to see what kind of stuff they promote or have on their site that shows you how to lose weight, and I saw they have some sort of club, that you have to sign up for. It’s not free from what my understanding is, they also has some cookbooks and some other weight loss books you can buy on their sites as well. I couldn’t find any reference to any weight loss supplements so it is possible they don’t have the contestants using them.

Biggest Loser Winner

By allkinds on May 26, 2010 | In Fitness and Health

Did you see the Biggest Loser season finale last night? I am so glad Michael one, he really deserved it. He was the biggest person to ever be on the show and he has lost the most weight ever on the show. He has set a few records on the show besides losing the most weight. I wonder if they use weight loss supplements along with their training and all the other stuff they do on the show. I know they were always promoting products on the show, sometimes I thought I was watching a commercial instead, but overall I like seeing people overcome their obstacles.

Traveling

By allkinds on May 26, 2010 | In Travel

I love to travel and you would think I have traveled around the world. Unfortunately I have not, but one day I will maybe we will travel around the U.S in an RV to start. I wouldn’t mind having one of those motor homes that you see people in all up and down the highway. I know around here you can look into buying used motorhomes, they even have a magazine you can look at. I think that would be a very cool adventure! Have any of you traveled around the U.S? Have you done it in a motor home or RV as some call it? I would love to hear your stories.

mesothelioma life expectancy

By allkinds on May 13, 2010 | In Fitness and Health

Did you know that the mesothelioma life expectancy is about 1 year from diagnoses? Although some people who have mesothelioma have lived up to 5 years. Asbestos is the common cause of mesothelioma and more men get this type of cancer then women, because they tend to work in the higher risks professions. Typically people over 50 tend to get it and it is often misdiagnosed with the flu. Each year 2,000-4,000 people get it and this disease is always terminal.

Prenatal Vitamins

By allkinds on May 10, 2010 | In Baby andToddler, Fitness and Health

I was talking about prenatal vitamins on my other blog and how they benefit both the mom and baby. I have learned that prenatal vitamins are specially formulated multivitamins, and this is to help make up any absence in the nutrition that the mom may have in her diet. This vitamin always has Folic Acid which can reduce your risk of having a baby with a serious birth defect of the brain and spinal cord, called the ‘neural tube. One of the most common neural tube defects is spina bifida; a baby is born with a spine that is not closed. The exposed nerves are damaged, leaving the child with varying degrees of paralysis, incontinence, and sometimes mental retardation. To lessen the risk of these defects doctors advice women to make sure they get Folic Acid in their diets.
