Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon
By allkinds on Mar 27, 2013 | In automobiles

I remember when my oldest 3 kids were young they would get all excited when they saw a Chrysler PT Cruiser. They would all say that when they were older they would pick that car. When one would drive down the road they would say that is my car. Or if they saw one in the parking lot they would alert each other to look. I was never really sure why they liked this car so much, but they would talk about it for months. They would ask my husband and me if we would buy them one when they were old enough to drive. Now that they are older 15, 13 and 10 they no longer talk about the Chrysler PT Cruiser anymore. I have 4 children now, but back then it was only the 3 of them.
The Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon is a cute car for teenagers and for people who are single, have a small family or to use as a second car. If you live in the West Palm Beach FL area you can get the Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon in the picture from www.arrigoautomotive.com. The model shown is 2004 and is Graphite gray. It has a 145,345 miles, there is no price listed you would have to call to get the Internet price. The fuel rating is not too bad with 21 city MPG and 29 Hwy MPG 29. The transmission is automatic and the engine is 2.4 4 cylinder. The seating capacity for this vehicle is 5, so for me it would be a nice second vehicle when I am not with all of my family. If I was to get this vehicle model, I would probably look for one in blue, either a dark blue or a baby blue. Would you purchase Chrysler PT Cruiser Wagon?
2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo
By allkinds on Mar 27, 2013 | In automobiles

I have been doing some research on various vehicles these last few days. While doing my research I came across the new 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo at www.arrigoftpierce.com. The Grand Cherokee Laredo has changed so much over the years. The earlier versions of the Laredo were much boxier, versus the new one which is rounder in shape. In my opinion I like the newer version. I don’t like the boxier early versions of this vehicle. For some reason the 2013 model reminds me of the Honda CRV.
This SUV has a lot of options and features, some are standard and some are available for an additional fee. I like the inside of the Laredo, the one in the picture has black leather interior. The only thing about this that I don’t like is that my family would not fit. The most people you can fit in this SUV are 5 people. So if you have more than 5 people in your family, you may want to find a bigger vehicle or you can use this as a second car. The Laredo comes with a basic warranty, which includes 36 months or 36,000 miles. You can also get roadside assistance for 60 months up to 100,000 miles. The other 2 warranties you get are corrosion perforation which covers up to 60 months or up to 100,000 miles and powertrain warranty. The powertrain warranty lasts up to 60 months or up to 100,000 miles. We all know that most SUV’s don’t have the best fuel economy. With this Laredo you will probably get 17 miles per gallon if you drive it in the city and 23 miles per gallon if you drive it on the highway. The MSRP of this vehicle is $36,115, but many dealerships offer incentives so you may be able to get it at a lower price. You can also try and get some upgraded options without having to shell out extra money. Talk with your local dealer, take it for a test drive and try to get the best deal!
2001 GMC Yukon XL Denali SUV
By allkinds on Mar 26, 2013 | In automobiles

The GMC Yukon XL Denali is one of my favorite SUV’s. Yes it has poor fuel mileage and you will probably get 12 MPG in the city or 16 MPG on the highway. If you have a big family like me, you will certainly welcome the room. The Denali can be a bit pricey the MSRP starts at $58,775 for a 2013 model. The prices for used ones can vary, since there are many factors that need to be taken into account when pricing a used vehicle. These factors can include the area where the vehicle will be purchased, the year of the vehicle, features, mileage and condition of the vehicle. The condition includes mechanical and outside appearance.
The Denali in the picture is a 2001 GMC Yukon XL model, the price is $7,991. It has 110,152 miles on it and it is available for purchase at the Arrigo Palm Beach. I have seen some used Denali’s for over $25,000. If you decide to buy a used Denali or any used vehicle for that matter, try and obtain the vehicles history. Many dealerships offer you the history of the vehicle you are interested in using a service like Carfax. They provide this free of charge, ask your dealer for details.
Carfax is like a report card for cars, it can tell you many things about the cars past. You can find out how many owners there was, title history, the states the car was owned in, service records, if the odometer was ever messed, etc... Carfax comes with a guarantee so the new owner is protected. Please note that not all vehicles come with this report and not all dealerships offer it, you may have to pay for. The cost of one report is $39.99 and all you need is the VIN number or the license plate number and the state. It is a very small price to pay for a piece of mind. You can order a report even if you buy a vehicle from an owner and not a dealership.

Have you noticed there are more Fiats on the road? Here is another mini- compact vehicle that people are purchasing in order to save on fuel. It is estimated that the gas prices will reach $4.00 again. In some states it is already $4.00, here in North Carolina it’s about $3.75. Buying these compacts are helping people save a few hundred dollars a month.
I found out this cool fact, while researching this vehicle. The company Fiat was founded in 1899. The actual car was designed over 50 years ago in Italy. The Fiat has 5 models available. These models are the 500, 500c, 500e, 500L and Abrath. The Fiat 500 Abrath Hatchback 2013 model has an MSRP of $22,000. This is a pretty affordable price, not to mention the Fiat has a lot of standard features.
Some of these features include:
1. Locking Pickup Truck Tailgate
2. Vehicle Anti-theft using an Alarm and Engine Immobilizer
3. Power Liftgate Lock/Unlock using a Multi-Function Remote
4. Power Door Locks Operated by key and Remote with Automatic Locking
5. 4- Wheel Anti-Lock Brakes
6. Brake Assistance
7. Vehicle Stability Control System
8. Turbocharged 1.4 Liter Engine
9. Roadside Assistance for 48 months with Unlimited Miles
10. Blue & Me Wireless Communication Access for Bluetooth Enabled Devices
11. Alpine AM/FM Radio with 6 Speakers, CD Player MP3/WMA Player
12. Airbags on the driver side, passenger, driver knee, seat mounted front side and front and rear side head curtain airbags
These are just small sampling of the standard features you will receive if you purchase a Fiat. There are also many upgrades that you can add for an additional fee. The Fiat also comes in a lot of exterior colors some of them are available for an additional fee. The interior color is black and is available in leather or cloth materials. If you are in the South Florida West Palm Beach area you can see many Fiat’s at the S. Florida’s Arrigo FIAT
Chevrolet Corvette
By allkinds on Mar 25, 2013 | In automobiles
I often wondered if it is every boys dream to own or drive a Chevy Corvette. What is it about the Corvette that has so many people wanting to own one? Is it the cool colors, V8 engine and a max horse power of 430? Maybe it’s the fact that (depending on the model), the corvette can go from 0-60 in 3.4-4.2 seconds?
I believe that everyone knows about the Corvette, but in case there are a few of you that don’t, I will tell you a little bit about it. The Chevy Corvette or Chevrolet Corvette is a sports car that is made by the Chevrolet division of GM (General Motors). The very first model was a convertible that came out in 1953; this car was created as a concept show car. The first Corvette was designed by a man named Harley Earl. The name Corvette came from a man named Myron Scott. He got the name from a small warship that had the same name. So far there has been 6 generations of model years of the Corvette created.
These Model years or generations include:
1. C1 1953-1962
2. C2 1963-1967
3. C3 1968-1982
4. C4 1984-1996
5. C5 1997-2004
6. C6 2005-2013
Generation 7 should come out in 2014. The Klick Lewis near Harrisburg is currently taking orders for the new 2014 Corvette. I have seen many Corvettes in my time, but I have personally never driven one. I have never ridden in one either. There are currently 7 2013 models.
These models include:
1. 2013 Corvette Coupe
2. 2013 Corvette Convertible
3. 2013 Corvette Grand Sport Coupe
4. 2013 Corvette Grand Sport Convertible
5. 2013 Corvette 427
6. 2013 Corvette Z06
7. 2013 Corvette ZR1
In 2014 they will have the Corvette Stingray. Prices vary for the Corvette and can range anywhere from $47,600 – over $110,000 for a brand new model. The price also depends on the model and features chosen. If you ever wanted to own a Corvette, which model would you have? Why? What color would it be? What features would be included? If you have ever owned one or have on now, which model is it? Why did you choose that model? What features does it have? How long have you had it? I am curious to see how many Corvette fans out there and how many choose the same model.
2013 Mini Clubman Cooper Wagon
By allkinds on Mar 25, 2013 | In automobiles

The Mini Cooper has become a popular vehicle these past few years. With the rise in gas prices these past few years, many people are opting for smaller vehicles. The base model of the Mini Cooper Clubman Wagon is excellent on fuel. You will get 28 mpg’s in the city and 37 mpg’s on the highway. The Mini Cooper comes in various models, if you are not into the Clubman Cooper Wagon. The Clubman is a cute compact hatchback which is offered in the Standard S and John Cooper Works trim.
Some of the standard features include connectivity for your Ipod and Bluetooth. Some other features include HD radio, adaptive xenon headlamps, performance suspension, club door, fully electronic throttle, and the MINI center-mounted speedometer. Safety is comprised of dynamic stability control (DSC), dynamic traction control (TCS), 6 airbags with air curtain system and anti-lock brake security (ABS). This just small sampling of the features available, some are standard and some are optional. FWD Cooper Clubman is operated by 1.6- liter 4 cylinder engines with 121 horse power and 114 lb- ft. of torque. For those that like the Cooper Clubman S that is operated by 1.6- liter 4 cylinder engines with 181 horse power and 177 lb- ft. of torque. There have been mixed reviews about the Mini Cooper, so it is up to you to do your homework and see if this vehicle will be a good fit for you. Some people have credited the Mini Cooper with being the first premium compact car in America.
From what I have read I have seen mostly positive reviews from consumers and industry experts. One of the things I liked about it the Mini in general is the fuel economy and the option to go with a model that has a convertible top. I was looking at Priority One and they had this pretty blue one that you see in the picture. The body style of this one is the 3 door wagon, the interior color is Carbon Black, and they call the exterior color Kite Blue. I also like that they have so many features that come standard and that you can choose from. If you are in the market for a compact car check out the Mini Cooper and see if you can add this car to your family.
